Hammond Garden Club’s recipients for September Garden of the Month are Jerry and Yvette Dellucky. The Dellucky’s beautiful home is on Forest Lane in Jefferson Court Subdivision.
When approaching their southern style home, you are greeted by a serene water feature, with water flowing into an antique sugar kettle. The kettle is surrounded by dwarf azaleas of salmon, white daisies and purple periwinkle.
The Dellucky’s home has hedges of Japanese holly, with flowing layers of sweet potato vines of various colors. The hedges also have dollops of daisies sporadically in the beds. A large sturdy Pen Oak graces the front lawn, accented with azaleas and daisies adorning the base.
