Spring has sprung as the saying goes, and the yard of Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie St. Pierre, 47087 Weald Way, is a lovely example. The Hammond Garden Club has awarded them Garden of the Month for March.
Beds of purple and gold pansies with rust nandina and dwarf holly border the front and side of the house. A whimsical statue of a small boy fishing accent the side bed, and a fountain and small hanging baskets of pansies add another nice touch as well to the north side of the house.
The south yard of the house is enclosed by gated picket fence. In the center is a large fountain surrounded by snapdragons, dwarf azaleas and pansies. Plantings of purple and gold theme also accent the yard here along the house and other spaces outside. Everything is immaculate and reflects the care of the St. Pierre's, said a spokesperson for Hammond Garden Club.
