The liriope enveloping the caladiums while the dianthus, wild pansies, and shasta daisies are so full of bloom and seemed to be strutting their stuff even in the heat of summer, said garden club member Kelly Koziol.
But more importantly it all has meaning, she said.
Whether it be the Eastern Redbud or the agapanthus, they all tell a story of love, a memory of those who will never be forgotten.
Helm’s serene garden welcomes guests with beautiful Siberian irises lined with Japanese cedar. Her flowers move with purposeful chaos and instill an energy in the garden that the garden club interpreted as a cool summer breeze.
